The Search for Fake Grass with a Natural Look
The customer explained that the biggest challenge he was facing was the fact that the samples of turf he had seen, from the few other companies he had already contacted, looked completely fake. He wanted to find an artificial grass that looked like real grass, and was hopeful that we would be the company to give him what he desired.

Before the Project Was Started

Before fully committing to the project, the customer wanted to see an example of our completed work, so that he could get an idea of how his synthetic lawns would appear on a larger scale. Since we install on the Peninsula, in cities like Palo Alto, San Carlos and San Mateo, one of our professional Forever Greens office managers promptly sent him a list of completed jobs in his area so that he could drive by and see our quality work for himself. After viewing just a few of the locations, the customer let us know that he was not only fully confident in our artificial grass looking real, he could see what great care we put into making sure that our projects are installed seamlessly. The customer was especially fond of our 80 ounce Everglades Fescue Pro product, which is manufactured by Tiger Turf, and installed at 123 Locust St, Redwood City, CA, 94061 in 2011.
Laying the Turf
In mid-October, the Forever Greens installation crew began construction on the massive project. Because the home it was being installed at was in the process of being remodeled from the ground up, the job had to be completed in two phases. All hands were on deck to make sure that the artificial turf was laid according to specifications, and within the deadlines agreed upon. The customer also had an existing sports court, with a Cal State Berkeley logo in it, which required particular care and attention while laying the artificial grass around it.

Realistic Synthetic Grass
The Forever Greens crew used natural contours to make the grass look more realistic, which was especially appreciated by the homeowner. In order to ensure that the artificial grass would have a nice feel underfoot for both the customer and his dogs, an 8mm shock pad was installed under the entire area as well.
